A simple introductory training day designed to help you understand and
use your digital camera.
Almost all of us have digital cameras but how many of
you have been properly shown how to use yours?
We don’t mean just pointing and pressing the button but actually using it
correctly to get really good pictures and, for example, to make the
batteries last four times longer than they do now ? Digital cameras are
actually very simple to operate
providing you are correctly shown how
to use them! |

We are professional photographers who
have been 100% digital for over five years. We earn our living using only
digital cameras and, so, have learned to know them inside out.
Our one day course is designed to show you haw to take good pictures in a
clear and simple manner without any complicated jargon or technology. It is
suitable for everyone from children and students to the more experienced and
is done on a one to one basis so you will benefit from proper and personal
guidance. |

Before attending, pre - course training notes will be sent to you which
will make sense of a lot of the terms you may have heard or read in your
camera manual.
On your “digital in a day” course the morning is spent taking
photographs, where you will be trained and shown how to photograph different
subjects including, if you wish, whatever it is you are most interested in.
For example, if you want to learn how to photograph Equine events such as
show jumping or dressage we will take you to a competition centre to do
this.
If you are interested in landscapes then you will be shown exactly how to
capture them.
Or, if like a lot of people you just want to be able to take good pictures
of anything from friends and family to holidays, we’ll show you.
The afternoon is spent at the computer where you will quickly learn
the simple way to process and edit the pictures you took in the morning. You
will also learn how to print them out, correctly e-mail them and write to
CD/DVD discs.
You will leave our office with all your images on disc and the ability to
use your camera in a way that you never did before.
And, once you have been on our course, you are able to ring our office,
without charge, for support and help to ensure you keep on using your camera
correctly.
A bit about us. Action Shots Photography has been established for
twelve years. Richard Birtles is the principal photographer and he has been
taking photographs for over forty years. He has much experience in most
fields of photography and his work is regularly published. He specialises in

Richard has a valid CRB certificate and also photographs several weddings
each year which is another area you can receive guidance on.
The day is a relaxed and enjoyable one and people who have attended tell us
they have learned loads of things they didn’t know before which really is
the whole point of any training course.
The day costs £99:00 including the pre – course notes and a booking form
will be sent to you on request, simply telephone our office on 01905 391736
during working hours.
